Would you be willing to give up Hawery for a forward that they hardly need? Their top 6, or even top 9 is stacked. I honestly feel a Jacob Graves type is all that's needed for this team.
I don’t even know if Luchanko will be on the market. Seems likely, but if I’m Guelph I wouldn’t trade him this year.

My hope is that Andrew Gibson becomes available. In the games against the Soo his assignment was to shutdown Easton Cowan and he did quite well.

If Mark is looking for a cheap option you sacrifice Landon Sim and you bring in Matthew Mayich. Defensive defenseman who knows his role.

Luchanko does have the ability to be a two year guy. That’s the only thing, but overall I agree and if we keep our futures we keep our program strong

Leave it to the Guelph announcers to get the NHL draft rule wrong 🤣

It's got nothing to do with being European. Halttunen was drafted by San Jose out of Europe, that's why he was allowed to play in the AHL. If he was drafted out of the OHL he would have been ineligible. The rule doesn't only apply to Canadians as the broadcast said.

Guelph announcers must have read the messages on this board. lol, they are talking up the Knights and way less homerism than normal.
