Those guys we got from the Brewers better turn into studs because Renfroe for Jackie really looks like a horrendously stupid move right now.

I'm being a little patient though considering Chaim made the right moves at the deadline last year to get Schwarber which dramatically changed our lineup altogether.
Could care less about Renfroe. He hits HRs cool. Bad fielder, with an even dumber baseball brain.

Only benefit was on a good contract.

I can't believe Camden Yards is already 30 years old. Still would love to see a game there someday.

Went in 2006 with a bunch of college friends for a sox series. We had just graduated the year before, it was our first “adult” trip. We were there for 48 hours, saw 3 games, and were sober for maybe 9 hours overall. Took a photo with a copy of an Improper Bostonian and sent it in. Got published.

Amazing trip. Amazing ballpark. Amazing memories.

Went to Camden Yards with my stepfather many moons ago. Saw Viola face Moyer in one of the slower games ever pitched. Andre Dawson and someone else homered for the Sox. Had good seats about halfway up the rf foul pole. There were lots of fights in the stands.

Frank Viola that's a name I'd completely forgotten about.

Go!!!

I went in April 2004 with an ex girlfriend for the opening series with the Red Sox.

We also visited the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum (I’m a HUGE fan of the Babe) and that was great as well. I believe it’s on Pratt St. Anyway, I signed the guestbook there and wrote “Boston Red Sox ~ 2004 World Series Champions” - in April 2004. I had a feeling that 2004 was ‘now or never.’

Great trip and great memories.

Did the same in (I think) 2009. Friday and Saturday games. Drunk three separate times. Could barely move on Sunday. (Was already well past my drinking prime.) Absolute blast.

Hell baby
David Hamilton continues his hot start in Portland. Another hit, 2 BB, 2 SB. Plays a solid SS. There’s some hope he could turn into a good CF as well.

I think he could be a very valuable utility guy

JBJ out tonight against the leftie starter. Trevor Story is out of the lineup because Alex is trying to limit his early season usage after the late signing. Plawdawg finally catching with Houck on the mound. So to try to prevent a sweep in the opening series for the second year in a row, this is what Alex is throwing out there:

Kike CF
Devers 3B
X SS
JD DH
Bob 1B
Arroyo RF
Doogie LF
Plawdawg C
Arauz 2B

Really would have liked them to get Story in there against the lefty
I can already hear Felger preparing to rant tomorrow about how he's soft and they made a bad signing because he needed a rest day after two games.

For tonight I'm more interested in seeing how Houck does. Is he going to make the next step as an MLB starter or is he the same guy who is only capable of going around a lineup twice.

Apparently he’s actually sick
