The trade in which Tage was involved is one of those ones that really came up big for both teams. The Blues paid a pretty steep price for Ryan O'Reilly but he was MVP in their Cup win and has been consistent ever since, so can't argue with the results, while Thompson has blossomed into one of the very best young centers in the league. Win-Win.

Big over payment in my eyes 3 first round picks. They are going to be bad a long time in near future one would think. That said 3 straight Stanley Cup finals was darn impressive in today's age

I mean did you even check the #'s and the standings at all, bad a long time bc of 2 late 1st round pick? I get staying committed to a take but he's on pace for over 70 points

What that have to do with giving 3 first rd picks for a 2nd line player at best?I think Hawks robbed them myself but hey thats just my opinion. Maybe I am missing your point on original post and if so apologize.

Why? A great young cost controlled player for 3 cup runs. Hagel is great

If we ignore all of his stats and the fact he plays on the 1st line, you could be right I guess
Its a fun deal to follow for sure - I mean Raddysh doesn't have the same supporting cast and is only 5 goals behind in this big breakout year for Hagel.

And as for the two firsts - the jury is out on how late they're going to be. So far Tampa doesn't seem like the same powerhouse they've been.

So we're running laps around the entire league and have only one all-star, who happens to be a goalie who will probably play one period.

TBQH it might be better that Marchand, Pasta, Lindholm, McAvoy, and Bergeron get the extra days of rest

They choose one from each team to start.

I’m sure Pasta will be one of the players added

The Leafs throttled 5-1 at home to Seattle. Nashville despite being outshot 62-24 with 4.37 left in the game are somehow leading Caroline 4-3.
