Carolina has Aho and Teravainen coming up soon on UFA over next two seasons. Will be interesting to see what they do there.

I suspect they see Burns/Patches as short term vets - but it's not like they paid nothing - I think roughly 12.3m in cap on both even with SJ retaining on Burns.

Patches is paying literally nothing. They gave up future considerations for a 1st liner making 7 mil for just one more year.

I think they are okay for moment, but probably need to shed a couple million for season start/various IR player management purposes.

Patches clears 7m if my math is correct and Vegas didn't retain.
