Seravelli just said on FAN 960 live that Gaudreau and Deviks seem to be held up / somewhat snagged / small issue on contract structure etc .
That makes me feel better !

If it’s at the point of hammering out contract structure etc . I view that as pretty damn promising on our end !

Well the cap management is really questionable, but I don't see the trade with Carolina as a biggie. It really is a cap dump of a player who's rapidly declining/can't stay healthy and is not a top 6 guy anymore.

Carolina is always an interesting team. They draft pretty well of note, but make some weird roster composition decisions and changes/moves every offseason.
