I like the idea of picking some USHL kids in mid-rounds that project well. Seems like it's becoming a bit more of a hotbed for guys who know they are more of a long play to get to the NHL level. Love nabbing a kid with some size out of the US heading to NCAA.

They suggested there was nothing left to learn in junior and he should be in the nhl.....that couldn't be farther from the truth.

What higher pick...they just took a center with their 2nd highest pick. Are you really that upset that they didn't also take a center at the tail end of the 2nd round? Not like they had the opportunity to draft Shane Wright here and passed.
