Great game from Michkov, gonna be some very upset specific seethers. The more consistent ice time / linemates with some skill he gets the more he produces, huge shocker. The extra time off surely helped but let’s see how Torts plays him going forward that’s the biggest factor.

Yeah I think all the rookies were gassing out and needed the rest to recharge. These kids will need to learn how to play a full 82 game season plus playoffs which will come in time as they gain experience.

He’s missed a lot of games the last 2 seasons. It’s probably tough to go to a better league and basically play double the amount of games in a season you’re used to playing

No one is “doubting” him. Whether a 5’10” wing, regardless of his talent, can be the cornerstone of a rebuild is another story, however. The Hawks did it with Kane, but they also had Toews, Keith, Seabrook, Sharp . . . The Flyers have no equivalents to any of those players at the moment . . . or in their pipeline.
