Noah Warren was fantastic at the propects game tonight. Definitely raised his stock after that preformance.
Right shot that is 6’5 with amazing defensive instincts and is one of the best skaters in the draft.

I’ve been yelling his praise all year and it looks like he’s finally getting his due.
Interesting indeed would love to see more offensive output.

Gatineau is a pretty good defensive team and he unfortunately doesn’t get much PP time, he plays behind Luneau and Belliveau on his own teams PP.

If he played for almost any other QMJHL team his numbers would be better. But at the end of the day that’s not his game and he is one of the more underrated players in the draft at the moment because of it.

He project’s to be a Cernak/Pelech type defender at the next level but he is an effortless skater. I believe one day teams will say to themselves “How do we find a player like Warren in the draft”

Wouldn't a future 3rd pairing of Kleven & Warren look good in Ottawa?

It would be great to have a weekend dedicated to prospects that would include the US prospects as well as CHL prospects
That Firkus kid looked good last night. Mateychuk as well.
I thought Warren looked good as well. Good mobility for a big man. I can see scouts moving him up.
George was one of team Red's better D imo.. Team White was clearly better in that regard.
I liked Wright. .. Smart, efficient player.
Geekie was ok.. I was expecting him to be a little smoother..
Savoie had some good shifts. Good speed. Can drive play.

Definitely could see the Sens being very high on Luneau and Warren, both being physical RD with size that skate well. Same goes for Lamoureux.

Physicality is the overwhelming priority of the Sens scouting staff, and has been since Mann took over in 2017, along with size and speed.

Would never call Luneau a physical D with size, he’s a cerebral guy with extremely high IQ.

Both Gatineau D are guys the Sens liked before the season started, I’d only imagine they have grown to like them more.

He's been physical in the games I've watched, but yes he's got better IQ and offensive instincts than the other two guys.

I think he's been producing around a PPG for the last couple months now after a slow start offensively. Should start getting some top 10 hype.

Luneau is very similar to Charlie McAvoy. Like eerily similar.
Both can throw hits, yes but they only do it when it makes sense. They pick their spots.

Would Ottawa ever draft someone his size. I wouldn’t even waste time reading or watching about him because I know Ottawa never drafts short kings.

We have plenty of tall goofs already. Why the hell would any rational person (scout) be against adding a different type of player to the mix.
Savoie is easily a top-5 talent in this draft just based off preliminary reports.

I agree with you, just Ottawas draft history in the past few years differs.

They did trade for a 5’9 dman though so maybe.

I think it's just a matter of what they think wins hockey games.

Sens management, and the Sens scouting staff by extension, clearly values physicality, size, speed, defensive play and character more-so than puck skill, IQ and offensive ability.

Every pick in the 1st or 2nd round since Mann took over has above-average physicality, size or speed, or a combination of the 3, and none of their picks in any round have been under 5'11.
