San Jose gets 3 picks in a prime range, and I could very well see a guy dropping to them.

ARI is getting a good guy here.

One of the more interesting drafts in recent years, I think if the leafs have a guy still on the board come around 15-20 they may just trade up to secure him.

Sorry folks, I'm late to the party, but is there a majority consensus around here for who we should pick @ 25, or is even a "majority" consensus an impossibility around here lol?

LOL @ SN talking up the Russians like one of them even would be in the top 15 in a normal year.

Yurov is not a top 15 pick even without the Russian consideration. Miroschnichenko is not either when you have to consider his unfortunate illness, but he likely would be without that.

Mintyukov was the only legit top 15 guy in this draft out of Russia, and he played CHL.

Most people agree with me that Mateychuk is *the* guy if he makes it.

Lots of love for Rutger McGroarty & Liam Ohgren too.

Ok moving up was great, but then choosing Connor Geekie is bad.

Arizona never fails to do dumb stuff.

His first day as an NHL GM and he gets taken to f***ing school.
He actually didn't. This drafts strength is depth. The top of this draft isn't particularly special. So, getting picks where you probably still get an A prospect on your board, and two high B's is likely a smart move.

Arizona never fails to draft bad players.

He is not a bad player, but he is someone who needs a good development staff.

They already failed to develop Strome, who is a better version of Geekie.
