A little first round value analysis. Earlier I averaged the draft rankings from 11 ranking sites, Smaht, McKeen’s, The Hockey News, Future Considerations, Hockey Prospect’s Black Book, Elite Prospects, Pronman, Wheeler, Mackenzie, Peters, and Button (I know I missed the Hockey Writers, and Consentino and a few others, but these were long lists and I felt good about using them).

I thought it might be interesting to see where the players were drafted relative to their average ranking. Brad Lambert was the biggest faller, falling 16 spots from 14 to 30, followed by Danila Yurov, and Joakim Kemmel at -13 and -11. The biggest riser was Maveric Lamoureaux who rose 27 spots from 56 to 29, followed by Filip Bystedt who rose 21 spots from 48 to 27 and Reid Schaefer who rose 18 spots from 15 to 32.

What in the actual f*** chuckles you traded that much for his rights alone!? And then can't sign him for less than 4 million!?!? Come the f*** on, when is enough enough

A dman who scored 51 points in 64 games is unlikely to sign for under $5m. Even with his known issues.

Can't defend a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for his rights, there's just no way

So we will be in the lottery this year and we have no 2nd or 3rd next year ?
I want chuckles beat the f*** up

Just need to trade Sanheim and re-sign Thompson and my nightmare will be complete
Honestly I hope he demands a trade, sanhiem deserves better

For the direction they are taking and headed this is a good move.

Now can absolutely 100% question the direction being taken.

Have to imagine there are multiple moves that will follow the pukefest of obtaining DeAngelo. Maybe, just maybe, they will somehow be great trades that will make the pukefest not seem so pukey?

So when is our 2nd round pick?

As one of the worst teams in hockey I have to imagine this is one of our most valuable assets to replenish the farm. Right?
