Preparing PHASE TWO!

If Detroit played defense this weekend they easily could have swept the Yankees. Instead the Yanks pen carries them to two out of three.

This Gallo thing can't go on. He has a good defensive reputation, but he's been trash in left for the Yanks as well as at the plate.

EDIT: Boone deserved to give up that hit to Meadows after intentionally walking Cabrera. Not only does he deny Cabrera a chance to get to 3000 hits, but Meadows is the better hitter at this point in their respective careers! Miggy had a negative offensive WAR last year! He hasn't been above 0.2 since 2016! This isn't even taking into account the potential for instant karma (which, of course, happened)

Miggy did it. Listening in the radio and it sounds like the pitcher and catcher for the Rockies are both from Venezuela. That’s pretty cool

I know we hate the Yankees here on this board, but I applaud Yankees manager Aaron Boone for walking Miggy in the NY-DET series to allow Miggy to get his 3000th hit at home in Detroit and not in New York. Very classy, NY.

Actually, this is a lie. The NY-DET series was actually in Detroit and Boone would not let Miggy get his 3000th in Detroit. Wow.

Congrats to Miggy on joining Rickey, Biggio and Ichiro to get their 3000th hit against the Rockies.

Miguel Cabrera is the 7th player in MLB history with 3,000 hits and 500 home runs.

Triple Crown, multiple Silver Sluggers, 2 time MVP, multiple time batting champion, World Series 2003.

Bonafied legend, congrats!
Should have half of those mvp’s, but I agree.

That's why you don't show people up, Myles Straw. Not even the fans. Random people these days won't hesitate to escalate situations. Climbing the wall to yell at the fans is ridiculously immature and I don't know what response he expected other than the fans getting back at him.

He was yelling back because the fans were taunting Kwan for getting injured.

If fans are gonna throw things because Straw called some jackass on a vile comment toward a 'teammate' then the fault is with the fans, not the player. He didn't get physical a la Ron Artest.

New York is Pejorative Slured and doesn’t even understand their own rules. Inept call gives Rangers a free run.
