Sure, but the host will be determined within weeks and at this point China remains closed to foreigners with zero interest to even consider taking that responsibility.
That essentially depends on Kunlun. China likely would have pulled the plug already if the events surrounding Russia's invasion of Ukraine didn't occur. But after the Western-led sanctions that included the withdrawal of two KHL teams China couldn't look like it was acting accordingly. So now Kunlun seems to have at least another year but is essentially a zombie team.China's ringers stuck around this year but who's to say they will continue?

Maybe, though as of now it's a Japanese domestic league that Halla may or may not be a part of going forward. Will certainly be interesting to see to what extent it can recover as an international competition as that has been its selling point to sponsors previously.Maybe Kunlun can join Asia League when ALIH starts operating again after Covid break. Seems like they can start a new season this year.
Rasmus Kulmala , a finn, have switched to Hungary.

Slovenia somehow was decent even before the Kopitar generation. I remember they even where in highest division some years in the 90s and early 00s. They have the hockey culture. I dont see any new Kopitar coming up but there is some decent young guys like Drozg, Tomazevic, Török, Masic, Pretnar, Gomboc, Mahkovec, Povse.Slovenia is icing crazy old roster. They have two 24 years olds as the youngest players (truth be told, Jan Drozg would be 23, if he was present). Slovenia soon is about to fall of the cliff if some prospects don't emerge out of nowhere.
Considering how Olimpija is doing in the ICEHL (which was a bit of an eye-opener) they won't fall of the cliff, just one step lower. Still easily a 1A nation, just a bottom half one.Slovenia is icing crazy old roster. They have two 24 years olds as the youngest players (truth be told, Jan Drozg would be 23, if he was present). If you look at their U20 results it even looks like they should be able to maintain their status as a top half 1A nation. They finished 17th, 16th and 18th in the last three tournaments. But I guess there is a risk with having a really small player pool and they might struggle due to having less depth than Hungary, France, Poland (maybe even Ukraine and Japan).Considering how Olimpija is doing in the ICEHL (which was a bit of an eye-opener) they won't fall of the cliff, just one step lower. My wording probably was a bit strong, but considering that Slovenia made Olympic 12 twice in past decade, potentially being on cusp of being yo-yo team between 1A and 1B is as close to falling off cliff as it is reasonably possible.Considering how Olimpija is doing in the ICEHL (which was a bit of an eye-opener) they won't fall of the cliff, just one step lower. But that's my point exactly, they will still be noticeably ahead of Poland/Romania/Korea, the current pack of yo-yo nations (at least considering where current import situation stands). I still don't see them becoming weaker than Hungary in the long run. Especially the way their 2002-2004 generations are shaping up.My wording probably was a bit strong, but considering that Slovenia made Olympic 12 twice in past decade, potentially being on cusp of being yo-yo team between 1A and 1B is as close to falling off cliff as it is reasonably possible.
