He sure looks like he’s got all the makings of a future top 4 D man.

Barlow was super impressive for me. Size, skating, hands, and laid the body a few times. Got a nice one timer off in the slot along with those two short handed breakaway goals. Big hit on the forecheck.

The Swiss are completely outmatched and overwhelmed. Pure dominance by the Canadian boys, this is a really good hockey team.

They look more like a U-20 team than a U-18 team.

I think Canada far and away have the best 05’s in a landslide - but man, the two countries that can even somewhat compete either aren’t competing or don’t play in non IIHF sanctioned events. It’s unfortunate and won’t be close.

I always look at this tourney as a test of USA hockey depth in this age group. Canada looks like an absolute beast this season.
