You seem to be getting some great upper end players...

But goes down hill from there...

I’m pretty sure with how good of a year this is for Western Canadians we could ice an entire roster of just Western Canadian boys and they’d steam roll every other country.

Not even sure the last time we had a draft class stacked from the West.

It's just not a legit tourney without Russia. Their kids shouldn't have to suffer for events utterly out of their control.

I agree.

With USA sending their B team and no Russia It’s Canada’s tournament to lose. No team can touch their roster in the slightest.

Yeah I am because I am having to watch it on on ifferent feed then the TSN one. I renewed my subscription with them this evening but for some reason it hasn't been activated yet, I will have to rectify that tomorrow.

Summers going great, just got home to Cape Breton on a vacation today, tired after a long day of traveling but glad to be home for 3 weeks.


Tomorrow I attack lobster.

A dear friend of mine moved to the Maritimes from Ontario. He says it's a different world out there - nice and quiet.

I’m with you. Hockey has always been a form of diplomacy between Canada and Russia.

Those kids had nothing to do with the decisions of their leaders. Even some of the Russian posters over the years here I’ve enjoyed chatting with don’t come by anymore, while there’s been many instances when we’ve disagreed it was nice to share different views on the sport.

Dialogue through a shared love of sport is needed now more than ever.

It’s honestly not the same without them. But, I digress and I know there’s a lot going on in the world.

I really don't know what to make of this period. Casually banking the puck in off the goaltender. Is this sort of period at all typical for this tournament?
