I was thinking about this hit and some of the thuggery from the Oils series- considered a rule change where any flagrant penalty resulting in any injury should be a suspension for the series. Not one or two games- but all remaining games of the series.

Agreed. A 1 game suspension to Nurse, for a vicious, head butt to Danault?
That was a joke. Should have been 4-6 games. Or even all of the payoffs.
That's deliberate and attempt to injure. No place for that.

Went to the scrimmage this afternoon, couple thoughts below.

QB: Looked to be much more physically involved, obviously against non NHL players but still nice to see. Still using a 6 year olds stick though.

Anders Lee: I think he could be a longer term player for us. Lots of size and decent skill.

Toby/Spence/AK34: All were a level above the rest, I would be concerned if that was not the case!

Sparkes: Looks like a newborn giraffe 🦒

Clarke: This guy is so damn smooth out there, he’s going to be a stud. If you’re still worried about trading Faber, don’t be.

Wright: Had no idea who who was, but he impressed me enough out of all the lesser known guys.

The Scandinavians: I was impressed with all the other Fins and Swedes as well, think they all have futures with the organization.

Aatu Jamsen, whats he like? I've been intrigued with him since Rutu's glowing scouting report but its hard to find anything on him.

I mean, he was playing really, really well and was on a 3-4 game goal scoring streak when he got clocked..

But yeah, he’s headed down that Deadmarsh route if he isn’t careful

Lookin' good. If he can build on that and keep it up, translate it to the NHL level, he would be a very tough player to stop once he fills out his frame and adds some strength to that speed and skill.

Which makes the point. He had to answer the bell for a fight he’d have known was coming, that he would lose. The arse still made the hit anyway as fighters are not the answer. I’d much rather have seen some sort of scrum immediately after the hit. The whole team respond, siege mentality. That’s an area Fiala helps in, now the other guys need to start stepping up in that area too. Things could quickly improve there.
