As much as we'd like him to grow (and i love doing growth watching with Lane) there's a chance he's still 5'8.
Lane said it himself a couple of months ago that he was about 5'9".

If guys like Makar, Hughes and Fox all do 2+ years of NCAA, Hutson needs to as well.Agree, he is on my 50 man list for next year.
I have HABS giving NHL deals to:
Dichow
Simoneau
Dobes (if he comes out early) or Vrbetic (if not)
Struble
Farrell (early, pretty sure of that)
Davidson (but we could also do AHL for one year, and hold his NHL rights to the max date of June 2024)
I expect Habs to not sign:
Gorniak and
Henrikson (LOL, 7 years after drafted!)
I think Hutson does another year in the NCAA though I would not be against him signing NHL and then playing in Laval instead
Fine, Hutson + Beck + Mesar + FLA 1st 23 for Nemec. That would be awesome but Jersey laughs and hangs up the phone.

just stopFine, Hutson + Beck + Mesar + FLA 1st 23 for Nemec.
I hear the poster actually forgot Slafkovsky as well...just stop
I'm not saying you are "wrong" but each player is different. It's more about when a person needs to be challenged at the next level, but still be considered able to handle the challenge and not drown. If guys like Makar, Hughes and Fox all do 2+ years of NCAA, Hutson needs to as well.

Hughes and Makar stayed in the NCAA after not beating 1.0 ppg in their freshman year. In fact, Makar was quite far away.
Fox was different. He did not want to play for Calgary and would not consider turning pro until he was traded where he wanted to go. So he ended up with 2 extra years in the NCAA.
I will trust Kent Hughes to assess the readiness level.
apparently hes a bust ne waysI hear the poster actually forgot Slafkovsky as well...
That’s when Hughes’s entourage tackle him off the phone, tell Jersey you got the wrong number and duck tape Hughes to a chair and stick a sock in his mouthFine, Hutson + Beck + Mesar + FLA 1st 23 for Nemec.
Hughes and Makar had the elite skating. Hutson is agile, but he’s not as fast, and he’s light. He has to gain strength, no other way around it.I'm not saying you are "wrong" but each player is different. Can't wait when he reaches 5'9 and 11/12" and 174.876 lbsBoston University now has him at 5'9 and 3/4" and 161 lbs,
It makes no sense for either team tbh, its just one of those "PlayStation" trades.
It makes all the sense in the world to the Habs as Nemec is so much better than Hutson. HuGo would pull the trigger on this in a nano second.
Have a great game!I got tickets for Friday in Maine. I’m excited to see him play!
DEALFine, Hutson + Beck + Mesar + FLA 1st 23 for Nemec + a 4th round pick
Plus at the rate he's going he'll be 6'2, maybe even 6'8 when he's done..I'd give Hutson another year to build strength
I'd give him 2.I'd give Hutson another year to build strength
