supposed to have grown half an inch since this summer so around 5'9.

He's so smart and i honestly think his height don't matter only because of his IQ, his skating ability and the way he can be so deceptive.

I'd say next year, or the year after only to have time to grow physically and get stronger but he won't do his 4 years that's for sure.

It certainly matters to fans — a large contingent can’t stop asking and commenting on it. Plus, Hutson himself made his growth chart an issue during his pre-draft meetings with NHL clubs.

No AHL for Hutson, another year in the NCAA and he should go straight to the NHL. His spot in the lineup is already reserved.

Well it was either risking losing out on Beck or Hutson. It's pretty clear the habs thought Beck would no longer be available with their next pick and thought Hutson had the best chance of slipping due to his size as a D, which is what happened. A worthy and smart gamble.

yeah I noticed the same thing. I mistake him for other guys plenty of times. Especially Fensore.

I think it's a bit of both but bottom line he doesn't look prohibitively small imo. Really it's all about getting better straight ahead speed from what I can tell. If that happens we got an absolute freaking stud.

Yeah height isnt an issue with Hutson. He is litterally like captain America before he becomes captain america in the movie.. all the will but skinny as hell.
