I stayed off here tonight, as I posted the Kings would lose the series...however,
I did say to win, Korpisalo would have to steal 2 games. He just stole one.
And that 5-8 would have to play their best hockey ever. Several were at their best.

No goal, without that deft pass. I so want QB to bury 2 this series.

Gutsy ass win, it was building throughout the game

That first period was just pure Oilers home adrenaline, what a 1st period by them

2nd period Kings evened it out a bit, started playing a little more systematic and getting engaged physically

3rd period Kings really started skating them, you could see Oilers getting tired, guys were banging

OT was mostly Kings for the first little bit then it was suddenly all Oilers, glad the hard work paid off, and it was funny, I felt like that penalty felt a bit like the Brown on Roszival hit in 2012, where the home team just came competely unglued, i thought we'd score quickly on the PP and there it was

GREAT way to open the playoffs because it just completely crams all the hype right back down their throats. 0 points and -2 for McDavid? What a shutdown job.

I'ts just one game. They have to remember this formula and that it's all grit. We may make a series out of this yet.

Honestly I thought for sure the Kings would get shit calls and the refs were our buddies tonite. It was that other crew that was brutal we had them for both EDM games I think.. whats the parsnips name forgot but he was reffing the Dallas game.

I'm not sure if it's been highlighted enough.

Kings actually lost the draw, but Arvidsson made a great play to gain possession. And that's on top of him blocking shots, making the play on the game tying goal, and game winning goal.

He was amazing down the stretch and in OT.
