What sucks is that the Knights are not playing good, it is just that Kings started like crap

Honest question, does anyone think when they watch Byfield play and say “damn that’s why we took him second”? Does anyone see anything actually that impressive with him except the one nice pass every other game?
 
A bad thing about this game is Korpi shit the bed (not all his fault).. but 5 given up when you're trying to sew up the starter going into the playoffs, just put that whole thing into a quagmire - something you'd wanted sorted before game 1

I don't see QB being a legit second overall pick. He should have went probably late 2nd round.
 
I know they're down 3 goals, but honestly they should bench Durzi for the rest of this game. This is one of the worst games he's played in a while and he's just not helping the team on both sides of the ice. Put Bjornfot up with Doughty and move Gavrikov back with Roy.

gavrikov is getting walker now but bjornfot has been up with doughty for the better part of the period
 
Very weird game for sure. I have no idea what happened in the 1st. I'm going to blame Mars being in retrograde and just go with that .

The Kings were not prepared for this game mentally nor physically. That was very obvious by all the stupid mistakes they made in their zone and still making stupid mistakes in the second. That is on TM.

He had a stinker, that’s for sure, but yeah not much time left to prove anything.

Copely gave up 6 a few weeks back and got pulled. Not sure if you could call anything a bad goal. Mostly bad luck on goals 1 and 2 or 3 . Never seen a goal allowed after the net has been knock off like that by the same team. The rest was just flat out bad defense and turnovers.

The Kings seem to play better in front of Copley yet Korpi has significantly better save pct.. its weird

said previous.....35 plus years watching hockey and never saw a goal like the allowed. Throw in the major to MacEwen....just two absurd calls that went against the Kings and Tmac simply cant handle adversity. 2014 says it all and here we are almost 10 years later- at some point the book gets written.

Didnt put some of the Kids into a position to succeed(kupari,spence,bjornot,kaliyev) and rolled with players in position that were clearly not their strength(durzi). I have to ask the question....when was the last critically important game TMac won? wasnt this year, wasnt last year with a 3-2 lead against edmonton. Ive been critical of Tmac but have to legit ask- has he ever won a critical game?

This is exactly why the smart bet is against the Kings. Todd just doesn’t perform when it matters most. The sample size is huge.

It is hard to determine what TM will do, Hw keeps playing Durzi who sucks, so Korpi still has a shot at starting in the playoffs. But if it is Copley he will be on a short leash.

With 2 guys out, there isn't much of a choice. We all know what we get from him, but without him, the 2nd pp unit suffers. Spence, Bjornfot or any other call up hasn't shown they can run this pp yet.
