This is the time of the season where they have to be operating on all cylinders full throttle and they came out very flat and got worse as the game progressed. Korpi is the only reason it is 2-1.
And 3 no goal calls:)

From a goal tending standpoint much better than Sunday. Markstrom played to what people expect of him for once

Markstrom Star of the game....stole this one.

In a one goal game you look back and wonder....why does tmac open with Durzi/Edler on the PK?
cause he's the smartest guy in the room

but yeah even with trash kings play, they win this on an average night from markstrom

We got Markstromed tonight, it happens. Doesn't make it any less frustrating. Finest margins make the biggest difference in the playoffs

All things aside you’re not going to win all the games but it is always very concerning to me however that Todd never seems to be able to come out on top whenever he’s from behind. He always gets outcoached.

Markstrom was great. But yeah Todd showing he ain’t changing any stripes.

He did adjust - he moved Fiala off line 2 onto 3.. then gave him some shifts on the top line. I dont see this loss have anything to do with Koalitics. I will criticize the season long affection for Durzi and Edler.. the 3rd pair needs to be addressed and he is running out of time to try out Spence and Bjornfot or some other combos other than Walker/Durzi/Edler.

Well the next game against the Oilers is going to be a very big one. could be a shift in position if the Kings don't get their s*** together.

They had a lot of non playoff competition on the homestand..the last game they did not look good at all last 2/3rds and this game they were sloppy as hell. But, you have to take into account Calgary is on the cusp was humiliated last time, and when Markstrom isnt dogshit, they are a solid team.

Need to beat Edmonton in regulation then get at least 2 points on the weekend b2b. Might be time to go away from the rotation and play Korpi Thursday.

Not like Todd coached his best game, but only so much can be done when Korpi and Markstrom played steal worthy games

Line blender is not really adjusting. It’s more of a momentum tool. Whenever sutter shut it down it was game over and Todd couldn’t overcome that.
