I hate to bring the negativity, but the emergence of another Kings forward just makes that Moore contract look dumber and dumber.
I like Iafallo and Moore, but unless the cap rockets up we’re not going to be able to keep both unless Blake is planning a blockbuster deal involving a few of the kids that are champing at the bit to grab one of those spots. I think Moore is safe given Danault being signed through the length of his deal. Iafallo on the 3rd line is a luxury we may not be able to continue to afford after this year. I just don’t know what teams will be interested given his cap hit.

Apparently you forgot the Oilers series where Kassian was smashing everyone and the Kings were coughing up the puck when he was around them. Yeah it’s almost like having an intimidating player that can hit and beat your face in keeps players more honest. Weird concept.

Tell me, which king is going to keep the opposition honest ? Don’t worry I’ll wait for your answer.
Kings were missing Arvidsson and Doughty. No 2023 Fiala or Byfield or the new goalies or Gavrikov. Give me a break. Did the Oilers even get past Colorado? We took them to 7 games with a fraction of what we have this year. You telling me Colorado is tougher than us right now player to player?

Would prefer both of them gone for future considerations so the kids can play and we can sign Korpi and Gavrikov

With the recent Moore and Fiala contracts, Blake added 12M in cap allocation to wingers for next year on team that already has too many wingers.

A portion of the limited capital available needed to be saved and allocated to the backend.

Apparently you missed the question, which player on the Kings will keep the opposition more honest? Who is the opposition worried about when they think about running a player?

adding Gavrikov and subtracting Durzi is a win win.. they havent given up more than 2 goals in regulation since Gavrikov got here
Agree. Trade Durzi and work in Clarke next year.

I’m so glad you don’t run this team. You would be the guy who adds a bunch of goons and tries to convince everyone it’s for the best because no one will take runs at us.

It is more about team toughness. This team is not small and there are a lot of guys who stick up for each other when it matters. The last bunch of games have gotten chippy at a certain point and I don’t remember them backing down.

I know it’s silly but…I’m kinda of feeling bad for TM haters right now. I mean, I’m sure if it was the playoffs, this Kings team would collapse, especially with Sutter on the other side.

There’s still another period that Todd can prove what a choke artist he is.
Axl I hope you dont mind if i use the blumpkin bit again until they lose. It really was good luck. Keep the pregame banter ruthless.
Even Edler looked spry tonight.

i see it too but if they can maybe get out from under the iafallo contract, it won't look like such an albatross. he was much more effective tonight than he has been recently but i imagine concussion recovery to an athlete is a bit of a process
Yeah, but it's not even about Moore's play. I like Moore and I think he's been great for us.

In a cap world, if a young player is giving you 60% of what Moore is giving you, for 1/4 of the price, when you need LHD more than you need wingers, it doesn't make sense to give Moore that contract.

Lol you can’t answer the question. I’m glad to see that at least indirectly you know the Kings don’t have a single player that can even be a mild deterrence.

You didn’t answer my question. Colorado won the cup last year. How many fights were there in the finals? Do you consider them tougher than us right now?

List of players who I know will stick up for their teammates: Grundstrom, Gavrikov, Danault, MacEwen, Anderson. Just to name a few…

Kupari and Grundstrom are 2/3 of an absolutely elite 4th line, MacEwen was still borderline worthless but was well on his way to more PP time than Byfield...thank goodness he was there to look menacingly at Zadorov behind his fish bowl. I feel tougher already, gonna go order a steak.

Please be ok Gabe, 3rd line is humming with everyone checking so well.

Nice line looking great with Moore looking healthier again

What else can you say about Kopitar-Kempe-Byfield

Credit where it's due, Edler/Walker held their own tonight.

Nice to absolutely pound the flames, that should be it for their season. Just hope they don't clown around again next meeting.

Lol the only person on that list that has shown any willingness to fight is Danault. I know you’re being obtuse however I’m not arguing for goons. I’m arguing for a player that has a backbone. Someone who’s willing to get down if needed be. Not some goon who throws down at puck drop to collect a check.

I think MacEwen can be that guy. We'll see.
