We all know he reads these boards so I’m pretty sure he does it to just piss you guys off. Try to be nicer. #bebetter
Youre nuts telling people to be nicer. You spend a majority of your time belittling others.
Just joking around anyway.
I would be surprised if TM or any of the team reads these boards. This is a very niche group of Kings fans and it has very little bearing in reality.

I mean, yeah…Spence was good. However, I also don’t find Walker and/or Edler to be as bad as some make them out to be around here.
They are the black hole of possession metrics, offense, and general direction of play on the entire roster.

It’s quite handily the biggest pressing issue facing the roster now that the goaltending & LHD have been addressed, and the Kings have better options available internally. It’s maddening.

Spence even looked a little bigger to me than the last time he played with the Kings. He had a couple shaky plays in the 1st period but after that I thought he made a positive contribution every time he came on the ice after that.

idk the big knocks on Todd McClellan are in prime position to be completely blown away or verified in the coming weeks and potentially months. The ball is completely in his court to show us that he can make adjustments when facing adversity, to utilize the resources he has properly, and recognize what path will take this team to it's highest level.

Right now he seems to have the boys heads in the right place. The team is looking as solid as I've seen with him as coach.

Edler over Spence doesn't really bother me.

It's Walker over Spence that annoys me.

Edler-Spence 62.5%
Edler-Durzi 50%
Edler-Walker 49.3%

Spence-Walker 58.3%

Granted some of these are small sample size, but the Edler-Walker pairing has been a weak link and it needs to be tweaked.

THere are so many great things about acquiring Gavrikov and Korpisalo and
one of them is Gavrikov on second pairing, which forced Durzi off second pairing and also made it so TM couldnt deploy all 3 of: Durzi, Edler, Walker.
That’s HUGE. Playing Spence would be even better...but having 2, legit top pairings has been massive. Roy can even perform better, not having to cover for Durzi.

Could be that TM rotates these guys in the rest of the way. You are going to need depth going into the playoffs, everyone's got to be ready to go.

Does LA get
A Nashville playing for a PO spot , so players playing too tight so to avoid mistakes
A Nashville that's giving up? (hope for this one)
A Nashville that has players playing for next year (most dangerous team).

Cody Glass is really the only free agent of note and he’s an RFA, so hopefully it’s the second one

There were a few seasons in a row where these Nash-LA games were super high scoring. 95% of the rosters have changed over but I'm living in 2015 like Todd with Edler.

I'll say 7-6 Kings.

I know everyone is upset about Spence (i am too) but I'm more upset about Copley starting. We traded for Korpisalo, hes the one we need to see play right now. He actually is putting up real goalie stats and we need to know if he can carry the mail.

I should probably trade away Spence in my fantasy league. I wonder where his spot is on the Kings with Todd filling out the lineups. Best get some value for him before he is 24 and still doing the Ontario shuffle. Walker will get an extension.

This isn't even some super small sample size thing either with Spence. He's played around around 30 games for the Kings and has consistently been better than Walker. Not all, but most games have been good to very good. Every single game was meaningful too. Whereas Walker is a below replacement level type player signed to a contract off the strength of performance on a tanking team.

How many goals will Copley give up tonight when down on his knees, between the legs and his stick not on the ice?

Korpisalo is a fundamentally better goaltender. Play him.

Yup I think it’s pretty ridiculous to go 50/50 with an AHL goalie who just has like 25 games under his belt.

I love Spence, also he is half Japanese and me being Japanese I am rooting for him. But is he heads and shoulder above Walker? The Kings are playing great so I'm not questioning any moves by Management. Let's just be glad we have a player like him on the right side if any one gets hurt.
