Yea hoping Quick plays well. He looked good last game. Maybe they are seeing if he can string together a nice streak of solid play so they dont have to make a move at the deadline.
He deserves the chance so lets hope for the best.

I guess it makes sense to give Quick another look here.

Kings have to make a decision on whether or not to acquire another goalie. Might as well see if JQ can get going first. Only a week until the trade deadline.

We are the 2022/23 Minnesota Vikings of the NHL. A great record with an almost negative goal differential. And just like them, they get exposed vs good teams and will get easily brushed outta the 1st rd, if we are lucky.

Really really bad comparison......NFL has 17 games...they don't play everyone....they play the games that were put in front of them.....

LA has played good teams and BEAT them.....but those don't matter cuz...feelings right?

Last time JQ had 2 consecutive good starts was Nov 25th and 27th. He had 9 consecutive losses until the gift win vs Ducks subbing for Copley. Out of 26 starts this year, only 7 had save pct > .900... its a dice roll. if he plays well then what, a platoon? Id say you dont mess with the goose laying the eggs until he stops (ie Pheonix the goose)
