When he's facing 30 shots a game on a team that is tanking. He looks better than the trash around him and it is always because of him that the Kings either win or don't lose by five.

Always have to be weary of the good stats/bad team guys. Not as much pressure when you are expected to lose.

Jim's being too protective. All three goals against were on Cal. Two through the 5-hole from far out and one because he was way out of position.
 
Unfortunately, this is the predictable start we all feared. Petersen just doesn't have it. I mean, they are stuck with him this season and have to force it, but he is becoming more and more of a liability the longer he sticks around.

Helping my nephew on a Zoom call while simultaneously "watching" the game as background noise. I couldn't catch a lot but did see the goal replays. Odds Petersen starts the next period on the bench?
 
Apparently cal must have cashed in his quality saves for the year in the SO Tuesday.

I know that it was a breakdown low, but a *little bit of positioning would have made that whole play a moot point.

Zero confidence.

No matter how good the team is in front of Cal, every good team needs a goalie to make key saves...otherwise all that effort they are putting out is eventually going to deflate everyone.
 
When Sieverson was playing well, he was in good position playing angles well, didnt over commit.. he's lost all that. He his angles suck, he slow to react and sense danger. He's total disaster and for his sake and the teams - get the f off the team

Biggest problem is there’s no one else.

Walker, Turcotte, JAD, Durzi for literally any goalie that can keep his ass in the blue paint and know where the puck is 40% of the time.
