GDT: 2022-23 season game 6 LA Kings vs Pittsburgh Penguins @4:00pm 10/20/22

The question at this point is if Petersen is an AHL caliber goalie. I don’t think even management’s worst case scenario could have predicted him to be this bad.
 
f*** Todd for starting this dumb f*** who obviously has no reason to be in the NHL and has the mental capacity of a baby

You know that whole idea that the last game w/ Nashville was a confidence builder for Cal? Yeah...not so much.
 
Example of your goalie completely letting the air out of the game. Kings looked good. Now I wouldn't be surprised if it ended 6-0. May as well leave Cal in to get f***ing murdered at this point, no point wasting QUick if the Kings can't get back into the zone.

Gotta love starting Clarke on his wrong side in the defensive zone with the 4th line and him STILL turning it into 5 shots on goal, lol.

Petersieve is not usable at this level of competition. Three softies that my mom could stop. I knew we would lose this game the moment I saw who was starting. The team came out and really put the hammer down trying to give him a chance but once Pittsburgh actually shot the puck it all unraveled.
 
Took him several seconds for him to swivel his head to find the puck.. Cal you are on some meds to be this lacking in situational awareness

He reminds me of those really bad QBs that start lighting up the field once they're down by 30 points and the game is out of reach.

Dude when has this dude ever displayed any confidence ? I don’t know where anyone ever got the idea he’s suddenly going to get better

clarke is an offensive monster, i love it

love seeing D playing deep and he's all about it
 
The really crappy thing about this game is that the Kings are outplaying the Penguins.

This team is going nowhere if Quick has to carry a massive load because Petersen is so bad. They need to make some decisions on him and get someone else who can play.
