When you are missing four forwards already, some of these guys may be playing through injuries they might otherwise rest and rehab. Danault and Iafallo and Arvy seem off to me and I think its more than one guy.

I mean we don’t measure up to the top 20% of teams. Anything can happen in a seven game series but Boston, Tampa, Dallas, Carolina, Toronto… these teams are just better than we are. The good news is we match up against anyone in the Pacific, so a conference final isn’t totally out of the question.

Kings are:
1-1-0 against Boston
1-0-0 against Tampa
1-1-0 against Dallas
0-1-0 against Carolina
1-1-0 against Toronto

They've beaten every one of those teams except Carolina.

That soft ass clear by Durzi being on his off side resulting in a goal is a story that has just repeated itself all season long.

He just isn’t defensively aware enough to consistently overcome being on his off side. It’s a fix that doesn’t even need a trade to address.

That soft ass clear by Durzi being on his off side resulting in a goal is a story that has just repeated itself all season long.

He just isn’t defensively aware enough to consistently overcome being on his off side. It’s a fix that doesn’t even need a trade to address.

the amount of times he's forced to his backhand or a quick soft forehand is just unfair, especially when he's forced to PK as well.

Then TMac/Blake are just stupid. When Quick starts the teams good play drops considerably. We badly need a top 4 LD, to balance the d-pairs better. Still need to 2 goalies to win games. Copper is doing beyond his part, but Quick is not capable anymore. Quick should be sent down and Cal called up. If that doesn't change anything, then Blake needs to show he has balls and acquire a goalie like Korpisalo.

The bottom line, trying to save face with Quick's horrible goaltending hurts the team growing with their young players.

And thats on the team for playing so poorly. So goal 4 is on Quick when 4 guys go to the puck along the boards leaving the middle wide open? He did everything he could to stop that. that was the kind of defense we saw in the 1st few months.
