GDT: 2022-23 season game 27 LA Kings vs Carolina Hurricanes @7:30pm 12/3/22

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. On the PK, there was 3 Hurricane players down low near the Kings net, and just 1 King.

Not a great formula for success.

Trade.. lol, what the f*** has happened to this guys??? Other than getting exposed or focused on in Kempe’s case
 
First he screws up the 2v1 then he takes a stupid penalty. Kempe bamboozled everyone one with his outlying contract year

Nothing happened this was his career prior to last year

Some of us expected a slight regression but this is f***ing us over!
I think now it’s easy to see why I kept calling him out when everyone blamed Kopi..
You can’t play a solid team game when you can’t trust your lineup because they pull a Kempe

Kempe is definitely expendable.. we have too many wings making >4 mil - need to reallocate some cap to D and G. I would not shed a tear.

I'm not an expert, but this does not look like a good PK setup. 3 Hurricanes around the net, 1 King.

Again isn’t it crazy how many chances Moore gets on breakaways and rushes, but Kempe despite being the faster skater on the team hasn’t had a single one this season. That’s how much he floats. Dude will never drown his entire life.

Only a few days ago, I proposed #1 2023, Kempe, Bjornfot, Fagemo, Walker
for
Chychrun and Crouse and was laughed at. Only the Coyotes would laugh at that.
I guess few realize Crouse is no longer the 6 goal scorer he was and has 30 in his last 83 games.
He's the type of power forward the Kings could use on wing. Crouse may be the best of the 3 names
in that deal. And I know the Yotes have no reason to deal him.
The Kings have no size on wing or defense (except hockey god Edler, who is about done)

I also pointed out, that ALL the key players Dean was adding, were Canadians.
I never thought about that or have ever seen anyone else dtate that:

Richards, Carter, Williams, Stoll, Greene, Mitchell, Regher...and even players like Colin Fraser, Penner,
Duh-whight King, Jordan Nolan. All Canadians. Gabrik, was not. Not saying that you must have
more Canadians than from any other countries...it's just interesting. I think it would make for a good
interview question for Dean, if he felt Canadians would add some element he felt the Kings needed.

Chychrun was born in FL. but has Canadian heritage.

Kempe will not regress to his play from 2+ years ago, but I think we may have seen his best.
I have no issues with him, CELINE $590 tshirts and all. I just woulf not have a problem dealing
him in a good hockey trade. I fully realize he can win a game in OT and in shootouts,
can play in all situations and has speed that kills. I think he's a 25-29 goal scorer from here and
that's fine.
