GDT: 2022-23 season game 27 LA Kings vs Carolina Hurricanes @7:30pm 12/3/22

This team is sitting on Jonathan Quick's soon-to-be 37 year old shoulders. Because I can't seen TMac giving Copley many starts.

Carolina has won 3 straight and is 8-3-4 on the road.

Kings played really well against the Hurricanes at Staples/Crypto last year, but still found a way to lose.
 
This would normally be penciled in as an 'ok/acceptable' loss but throwing away points to bottom feeders in division means it's more important.

1030pm game for Carolina, maybe can steal one here. But they typically play well against good opponents, so I dont' even know what to expect anymore.

Limiting errors and playing a tight checking game is vital tonight otherwise it can get ugly quick. As happy as we were with the Arizona game, they still made some errors that led to a two goal deficit.

Yes, I just want to see a continued step forward--no completely unforced errors and far fewer self inflicted shotgun wounds. the W or L is almost immaterial to me at this stage vs. this opponent.

Exactly, far too often it’s felt like they were beating themselves with unforced errors instead of losing as a result of the other team simply outplaying them.
 
Seeing as this will probably be another barn burner I’m looking forward to seeing Quick work on adding the next trophy in his case next to his Jennings. The good ol’ Daniel Cloutier gaping 5hole trophy.
 
I see this game coming down to special teams So stay out of the box and score on pp will go along ways to winning this
