When I said since Ziggy I didn't mean better at any level than Ziggy. Ziggy was world class and one of my favorite Kings of all time. That comparison is only as a person who has that type of skill. Yeah I'll take Ziggy all day every day. Although I'm loving Fiala as well. Man he's been pretty damn impressive this whole season so far.

Zigggy was a ppg player, had 3 - 40g seasons and 3 - 30g seasons.. on a crap Islanders team and then on a one line Kings team.

I guess you could say he’s Pálffy-lite, lite but that’s as far as it gets

Not one person is saying Fiala is better than Palffy (i said he seemed faster)... also you cant really compare stats across eras unless you want to do the math on averages... This did motivate me to watch some Palffy highlights.. He was one of my fav Kings of all time. Im still pissed that line got decimated by injuries.

I understood that but if you look at some of the other comments.. it’s a direct comparison and it’s just not close.
Speed wise I give the edge to Ziggy because he was faster and more importantly, he was one of those few players that was just as fast with the puck on his stick.. it also helped that he had hands of gold!

Well there is no way to prove he is faster but Ill concede the point if you want me to.. This is an interesting description about his speed - claiming his first step was his talent but not overall speed Ziggy Palffy

Fiala is our most talented player, no doubt there..
what I want to see is Kempe either step up and get his head in the game or just drop him to the second or third..
This is the first game all season where Kempe has been engaged from start to finish.. that needs to continue!
