That was an abomination. Maybe they should burn everything they touched in this game, (the sticks, the jerseys, pads, pucks) and all the tapes of this game, and offer them as a burnt offering to the hockey gods in an attempt to drive out their demons. Yikes.

Also, is it just me, or has Drew been a dumpster fire lately?

This is as bad as I've ever seen Doughty play

I am no fan of McLellan's, but damn, this team doesn't have anyone who can bring order to a frenzied game. Its a supremely poorly composed roster.
It's hard to believe at times that Doughty and Kopitar are 2-time Stanley Cup champions. They miss DB23's leadership. The real captain.

At even strength tonight Kopitar was on ice for 5 goals for and 1 goal against , Doughty was on ice for 4 goals for and 2 goals against, and Kempe was on ice for 4 goals for and 1 goal against. Who did you want out there, Danault?
Can't reason with f***ing morons

And what has all this to do with 11-9-8 performance in OT?

The Hot Dog salesman from section 219 was out there for 8 goals for and 9 goals against

Oh please, standing on the ice while offense occurs doesn't equal the ability to create offense when it is entirely on your shoulders to do so. The days of Kopitar and Doughty being capable of doing that are now long gone. Kempe is slightly better, but he would need the likes of Fiala out there to make sure he gets the shot as he has lost the confidence and ability to find the scoring areas himself. At least Danault is more competitive and capable of generating offense during 3 on 3 than Kopitar.

This was technically the biggest game of the year. Division opponent who's 2 points ahead of you in the standings.

And the Kings came out played completely undisciplined. A total mess.

I dont know how he was a +3 because he looked like dogshit to me all night..
No bigger proof of how worthless +/- is than Doughty's game tonight. Standing out there while others score and looking like garbage the rest of the night doesn't equal a good game
