Reading through the Oilers game thread, there are some level-headed posters, but also seemingly a bunch of 12-year-olds that blame the refs (or even the league) for everything bad.

I had to go through all of those shithead's posts every game to make the 'What They're Saying' posts during the off-season run.

I understand the zebras don't always make the right call, miss some calls, call make-up calls, but Jesus. H. Christ these nutjobs were vehemently calling for power plays all game long because they KNEW their 5-on-5 sucked ass and couldn't win the game any other way than a power play with McJesus and King Leon out there for the full 2 minutes.

I use to really hate Vancouver back in 2012, as I am sure most of us did back then, but now, especially after last season and seeing how whiny Edmonton fans are if they don't get a power play every 5 f***ing minutes, Edmonton has replaced Vancouver as my most hated team. Suck a D, Oil Country.

Honestly this is the biggest factor and is a constant in our meetings.

It's like playing the TM era Sharks, having a lethal PP and so used to getting calls that if they don't, they can't win the game and just implode. At some point, you've gotta take a long hard look at your team, not the refs.

I totally missed that rear angle on the broadcast, Edler didn't even remotely stick out his knee there. That wasn't even a penalty, but I still see why they called it.

Yeah i totally get why the ref called it from his angle, especially in real-time. But the rear angle and benefit of slo-mo showed really a nothing play.
