14th game of the season. Most in the NHL along with San Jose.

Only once so far this season have the Kings had more than a day off between games.

They've played 8 road games which is the most in the NHL.

Kings have had the most dense schedule in the league, combined with the most traveling and road games.

SJ and NSH went to Europe, but both games were in the same arena. When they got back both teams had 5 days off before their next game.

Hoven reporting he could be sent to the AHL for a conditioning assignment.
 
welp, I’m gonna be drunk on a beach in Hawaii so game starts at 530, I’ll be sure not to let this guys raise my blood pressure until at least midnight PST

It really has been absolutely brutal, even with my criticisms I feel for them right now and on one hand, I feel like as Long as they stay just above .500 for this stretch, I’m generally happy.

On the other hand there are so many games in which they’ve played well and LOST points by beating themselves rather than just outright losing which is so frustration, those are points they really need to bank for later, this team can’t afford to slide behind too much

I was a little skeptical of @Herby being so hard on their one-goal game record last season but it really has come to haunt them a bit this season so far, just in some of the goofiest ways rather than outright playing ‘bad’ all game

It’s should be a full time assignment. This is the year of the Vilardi and the Kupari. Next season can be the year of the Byfield and the Clarke (and hopefully Turcotte).

100%. It would be one thing if kaf*** was a 3rd or 4th liner, then DD excuse would be - not a fair swap for 5 minutes each in the box.. but MT is a top line forward. DD should drop the gloves...doesnt have to worry about his teeth.

I mean ok. What about the previous 5 years? I love a lot of things about Doughty but his unwillingness or inability to stand up for himself has been downright embarrassing his entire career.

I mean I don’t disagree in general but the Tkachuk thing is stupid because the whole narrative was that Doughty should do something because…Matt elbowed him in the face.

I haven’t seen much stuff like the Matthews incident, Doughty doesn’t instigate and then kick back and watch…mostly because his teammates wouldn’t do anything anyway lol

I agree that throughout his career besides just chirp, he should have done more but the Tkachuk stuff is horseshit, Doughty doesn’t owe anyone anything there. For other guys? Sure. Though I’m not sure there are many other high-end players Doughty should be fighting anyway. Remember he tried to take care of himself vs. Thornton and I think that was the end of that :laugh:

Hawaii is a great place to watch the Kings for too many reasons to mention.

Hey guys I'm a Devils fan on vacation out here in Socal. Tonight is my last night here and I'll be going to the Kings game. Hoping it's a good game. Maybe I'll put 2012 in the rear view mirror and hope you guys win. Checked out the Honda Center last Sunday , feels good to be able to finally catch a game at Staples Center err..
