You guys blaming that on Durzi is hilarious! he blocked the shot, starts leaving the zone when he sees Fiala has total control, then fiala turns it over. Toews was 4 feet in front of him. no way he could get back. this is all on fiala!

Not a hill I’m trying to die on, but Foxy just said that Fiala didn’t have total control and that the other players should have been more conservative.

it's ot, when does anyone play conservatively? had fiala not f'ed that up , its a 2 on 1 the other way.

A team in a full f****** rebuild beats a team supposedly coming out of their f****** rebuild. Couldn't be any more f****** Kings

Good night yall.

I made a thread on the main boards to ask if this has ever happened before. Fox read the rule out, and it is vague on purpose. I think we just witnessed some dumb new precedent or a one-off mistake. Players are always supposed to be in control of their own sticks.
What the rule stated was review to determine if it was an opponents stick - and it was the opponents stick... didnt say anything about same team lifting opponent stick... i believe it was a mistake and league will clarify

He's my other beef with TMac in ot, why wasn't Kopitar or Valardi out there to take the draw? Kopi had a 25 sec shift to start, left the ice at 4:35. Plus there was an icing, to rest the guys even more. Never saw another shift.

I'm a little pissed I wasted my time watching that game. Great made it to OT. Maybe something exciting will happen! Oh you got 33 & 22 out there? That might work if you had possession & changed them on or had Danault take the face-off & go to the bench for a change. Nope, you send 33 out to take the day off (autocorrect is fine there) so you are putting 22 & 33 on the ice in a defensive situation. Complete waste of time.

I don’t agree with shot first mentality on a backup backup goalie. You’re basically hoping they’re going to make a mistake for a goal.

I'm just not excited to watch this team recently.

Vilardi has been fun; but outside of him it's been a lot of meh.
Lets face it, overall the team is mid. It wont be more than mid until they execute an extreme makeover on the d-corps (and the marsupial isnt helping, but he's not going anywhere). It will be rollercoaster season ending in approx .500 winning pct if things stay the same...

This team isn't out of the rebuild. Last season was a fluke.
Well they are trying to execute a rebuild and contend at the same time.. a recipe for schizophrenia
