That bad bounce was after two mistakes from Durzi. But another illustration of why 3LD are preferred. If Durzi was a lefty he probably banks that out.

So, I always wonder how teams handle things. That was a dumb play by Durzi, no doubt. I'm sure he knows it, too. Do any of the coaches say anything to him on the bench, or do they just figure he knows?

Also, hate to say it, Kupari has been way more noticeable in this game than Byfield has all season. Maybe some more time in Ontario would do Quinton some good.

He's older, he's NHL ready, he SHOULD look better

That being said he gets Fiala and Grundstrom as linemates, Byfield looked fantastic too when it was Iafallo and Vilardi rather than JAD and Kaliyev.

It's almost like insulating kids with strong vets and high-skill players instead of 'what's left' helps.

First summer without a major back rehab, no? that's a big deal. He gets to get better at hockey instead of just better at getting healthy.

One thing is for sure, he is worth the price of admission.

Well Ive seen nothing but bland cliche interviews w GV.. lets get to understnad him all he went through. He was a completely different person starting w training camp.. always pumped full of energy and intensity.. That was not there before.

We have quick coming off the books. Cap should go up a tad as well.

Richard cap goes down a tad. Does our buyout of the pylon end this year?

RV or Moore (I think Moore?) comes off the books as well. We will have more than enough. Vilardi will get a raise and promotion to second line.

Totally agree, but a year in Ontario and a healthy offseason did wonders for Vilardi. Kupari looks just fine at 3C. Let Byfield go develop a ton of chemistry with Turcotte with the Reign.
