He's not skilled enough to evade defensive pressure and not strong enough to win puck battles.Harkins is okay. Seems to skate and buzz around a lot, but accomplishes very little. I think he’s a decent fourth line/13th forward option, and I’m a bit surprised he’s the one being sent down, but I’m not terribly bent out of shape over it. It’s actually good news, if anything, because it means some of our guys are close to returning hopefully.
You end up with a guy who has the odd good play and can skate the puck up the ice well enough, but not much else.
I agree he's a decent 4th line but the problem is we have a bunch of guys that bring more value to that role.
