A little birdy told me that he has a new mask from his regular painter on the way.

I am guessing this is a generic, maybe wrapped, mask to wear while he waits for the real one.

Here is a new video of Kasimir Kaskisuo's mask painted by Daveart. And yes, it basically proves that Dave will paint the mask just as the goalie wants it. According to Kaskisuo, he insisted the mask to be super clean and simple even though Dave wanted his special fx all over the place but still he got the mask as he wanted it. Unfortunately, looks like most goalies are happy with have 150 different things on their lid.

I've been saying this for years here, but it bears repeating: a goalie who isn't "involved" in his goalie mask paint job is essentially a unicorn.

Goaltenders, as a rule, are *very* particular about their gear.

I will say that there's only been a couple DaveArt masks so far that have been truly awful. The rest are pretty clean designs but with his fx all over them. That Sens/Stranger Things mask is pretty nice.
