Absolute bloodbath in the East, Carolina is definitely still going to make a big move. The top 6 in the East are just on a different tier.

How about the '24 3rd for Nick Seeler, and Myers+the '25 2nd for Jason Dickinson@50%? Tampa could add something small to either if needed, and then they waive either Bellemare or Names to be compliant. Both targets here are signed through next season at pretty low cap hits in this example, and they provide an upgrade on defense and at 4C. Seeler could play 3LD next to Cernak while Cole moves to 1RD or 2RD, or he could slot in next to Hedman.

I think we should have 2 more moves at the deadline. Upgrade the right side on D and Move Vladdy and PEB for someone like AA to add some speed to the bottom 6 and push out the slower guys. If we really believe that these next couple drafts dont matter, sell everything to make a push this year and next. we still have a 2nd and 2 3rds to move as well as some younger guys in the AHL that can be moved in the right deal. hell, i wouldnt even mind trading for Drouin to put with Stamkos and Killorn and move Cirelli down

Agreed, we need something more. Trading capital is low but still, gotta try and do something. JBB is good at getting creative. The current 4th line absolutely does not work and will make us crumble come playoff time.
Having Name out and not play him is a cap waste, gotta find a way to sell him, PEB and upgrade D and 4th line. It'll be obviously incredibly difficult for JBB, but there should still be quite a lot of cheaper options.
I wonder why is Cooper so reluctant to put back Paul alongside Stamkos, when Paul was absolutely money with him in the first part of the season.
