Ahhh... forwards not scoring typically has a much higher impact on defensemen's production. Just due to the position, they are reliant on the forwards actually producing.Sorry, I didn't word my post very well.
I was talking about the Avs defensemen scoring 5v5.
Now part of that is just Makar too... he shot nearly 12% last year and flirted with 13 for a long time. Most defensemen don't maintain that high of shooting percentage and Makar in any other season hasn't done that either. He's in the 9s now which is reasonable for him (had a 9.9 and 7.7 seasons prior).
