I don't really like Russian players (prospects). There is always the possibility that you will stay in Russia and that the pick was given away. See the story about Thikonov back then. They often think they are better. Not all, I realize, but in general.
But I like the development of the 3 Russian top prospects and I'm excited about all of them. Duda, Fodotov and Daryin are all playing KHL at the moment. This is strong and everyone gets good ice time.
A. Duda (18) RUS (#36/2022) - CSKA Moscow
12 GP - 3 assists - TOI/G: 10:20 min - SFT/G: 16.9
What's interesting is that he hasn't drawn a penalty in the KHL so far. In general, Duda draws hardly any penalties. He had drawn 2 minutes in the MHL this season and before that not one in the whole year 2021/2022!!!
A. Daryin (22) RUS (#107/2019) - Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod
9 GP - 3 goals, 1 assist - TOI/G: 9:36 min - SFT/G: 12.9
With him I always thought he was such an overbearing talent that thinks he can do everything and doesn't have to do anything to make it happen. Am surprised that he has made a step up so far and is currently playing in the KHL. But it's also quite possible that his team relies a lot on young players, Fedotov was also part of the team last season at the age of 18. Still good.
I. Fedotov (19) RUS (#43/2021) - Nizhnekamsk
7 GP - 2 goals, 1 assist - TOI/G: 11:31 min, SFT/G: 14.8
Fedotov's 7th game has just ended, the goal is included in the stats, the shifts and ice time are not!
The change/loan to another team did him good here. The ice time has grown significantly and so has his role in the team. He now plays mostly in the 2nd line.
