Vancouver’s defense isn’t good, but it is missing a couple players. They’re forwards though… that could be the best group in the league. Even with two top 6 guys missing they have a deadly top 9.

I just took a peak at Tampa’s opening lineup. It leaves a lot to be desired after what they’ve iced the last few years. Kind of the same boat as the Avs.

Tampa has to bargain it up this year and even next year to re-tool that group. Where it goes from there is yet to be determined, but building a contender again with that core will be difficult as they age. They'll be a mid to lower level eastern conference playoff team. A dangerous one, but they are a couple steps back from last year and a lot from a couple years ago. Happens when you win Cups and players get paid.

I picked up Kuzemenko on waivers yesterday to fill in an IR spot I have. Might be genius. Might be a waste of $2

I think I've discovered who TheDizee really is.

The Blues were losing that series with or without Binnington. Whats f***ed up is Blues fans would have been begging for Husso had the Avs not hit an NHL playoff record number of posts in Game 1. Begging. So f*** them and this stupid f***in narrative. f*** Binnington arab hating ass. f*** the Chief and most importantly f*** the stupid idiots in Missouri.

This just in: Brett Hull is a POS and his dad is an even bigger POS. So **** em both. Strickland too.

The only thing I could think of before he mentioned Kadri is wondering if he was talking about his dad beating up his mom

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Avs can only assign JoJo straight to the Eagles if no other team makes a claim for him. I doubt anyone will though so it seems like a formality that he'll be back with the Eagles at this stage.
Dont we get first dibs on the waiver claim since he was stolen from us by Arizona?

Kinda feel bad for JoJo if we claim him. Dude thought he'd have a spot in the NHL with AZ, got hurt, and they turn around and claim someone else.

This has NOTHING to do with health. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

Wholesale changes to HC.....

Go figure. They were loud, defiant, and angry until the big money left, then they ran off with their tails between their legs. Unfortunately I could see all those slimebuckets resurfacing elsewhere in lucrative positions. But hey, at least they're out of Hockey Canada.

Not that it matters all that much at this point but from what I understand, the "funds in case we get sued" system was already in place before they all got there. That's why they were hesitant to resign, they didn't want to take the blame for it.

I'd be curious to see how it was viewed from the inside before all of this happened.

They knew it was there, they perpetuated it, and they didn't ever come forward with the information that there was not just one, but TWO slush funds. On top of that, Skinner in particular acted like a petulant child in front of the inquiry, as if they were the aggrieved party.

Just because they didn't literally create it doesn't mean they shouldn't take a lion's share of the blame. If they were actually good people they would've shut those funds down immediately upon realizing what they were, and reported it to the proper authorities. They did no such thing. They're part of the problem and they all deserve every bit of egg on their faces that they received.

I'm not sure how all of this worked.

Did the victim sue directly Hockey Canada for what happened? If so, why? Surely what happened in that hotel room wasn't setup by HC.

Or did HC learn that the boys were in trouble and decided to contact the victim and pay for her silence? Now that'd be pure evil and I've no idea why they'd do that.

You're galaxy-braining this. This is not a complex matter.

They enabled not only the sexual assaults that happened, but also the ones they knew would happen later, instead of holding these players, coaches, and staff accountable. That's unconscionable.
