While I have no love whatsoever for Lucky Bonus, I can't imagine this was solely his idea. There's something going on behind the scenes between Wheeler and the Jets and I don't think it's good.

I've had a herniated disc, I don't think I've ever experienced more pain in my life.

Sucks for him, I kinda/sorta rooted for him after he lost value following the WJCs (conversely, Huberdeau's skyrocketed after that tournament) and always thought of him as a very good two-way center.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hayes misses significant time again as well.

Philly should be a top tier contender for Bedard.

That roster is already bad. But man wouldn't it just be a classic Flyers moment to have Torts come in and coach that team juuuuuust well enough that they're a bubble playoff team that misses. They have a bottom 5 roster IMO but Torts could easily have them playing well above that.

Yep. Although I have to admit I didn't realize just how bad they are and especially without Couturier and Ellis... Not sure even a coach as good as Torts could bring them out of the very basement.

That Defense is so bad. Ristolainen and DeAngelo in the same Top 4... The forwards aren't much better either.


IMO they should be the worst team in the East by far next year. They look even worse then Montreal.

Torts might already be waving a white flag with his announcement that he doesn't like what he is seeing in Philly. They were pretty terrible last season and a bottom feeder. At the same time, that could have been an aberration; the team is known to be mediocre and tends to place in the bottom 10, but not the lowest rung

Hey don't knock it, that's the most successful attempt the Oilers have had at a third jersey. I may be biased though, it was designed by Todd McFarlane.

For gaming purposes I imagine they have to make Fox faster than he actually is, because I don't think you can build hockey sense into the game.

Yeah Girard seems high to me too. His acceleration and agility is insanely high but his top would only be above average to me.
