Remember when he got fired from Florida after a game in Carolina, not allowed in the plane and the Canes crew helped to put his stuff in a taxi cab to leave the arena?
Talent level was overrated (more Landy than Hubi) and was a manchild where people always seem to think big and strong at 17 translates the same later… also Rags are not a team that can seemingly break in young forwards worth a damn. Something is certainly off there and I don’t think it is all on him.

Thompson is a legit beast of a player. Columbus sucks, but that was as impressive of a period as I’ve seen from any player this year.

Very well might be… type of contract you get tremendous value from to build a Cup team. Combined with their other pieces, they may finally have something. Not this year but next year or two.
