It's bad for sure right now. If my choices are Newhook, Rodrigues, Compher, or O'Reilly rebounding then I think I'd still take that chance.

The price would obviously be a factor as well. If he looks washed throughout the season then I can't imagine he'd cost a ton but you never know. There's also the question of whether you'd even want him if he still looks like this in February.

All fair… he’s better than the current options (maybe outside Rants). Im just in wait and see mode. Don’t care if it increases the price a bit. Better than a mistake.

Since I have center ice, I've caught a couple Kracken games, including tonight. Man, is Bura flying out there. I know on the Avs he'd be great for 4-5 games, then dissappear for 10 games.

Maybe he won't sustain this, but he's noticeable in every shift. He already has a goal and 2 primary assists. I wish we still had him. Would ease the burden of secondary scoring.

I dunno if I'd call them rebuilding at this point honestly.

They look great this year. And even last year I think they would have faired significantly better if not for Grubauer.

Especially in such a lackluster Pacific division I could absolutely see them making the playoffs. They've got a really deep forward group and a Defense that does a good enough job keeping it simple and getting the pucks up the ice on the forwards sticks.

I really did expect St. Louis to regress this year, but I didn't expect them to be this bad either. Thought they'd be in a dogfight for a wildcard spot honestly.


They look like utter garbage. Goaltending bad, O'Reilly awful, the supposed two young superstars Thomas/Kyrou have been bad, the Defense is a disaster.


...Hate to say it but they could be a sleeper pick for a bottom 5 season and right in the thick of the Bedard/Fantilli/Michkov sweepstakes.

He wasn’t that great beforehand. In his supposed “breakout” season he still laid a few eggs in the Bubble tournament. And people forget he sucked his first year in Calgary (also got hurt).
