The Oilers seem to be routinely giving up 40+ shots per night. That's not going to fly with Jack Campbell and Stuart Skinner as your goaltenders.

Devils and Buffalo looking like the hottest things in hockey right now. Goes to show what accumulating top draft picks with good development can do. These two teams are teeming with good young depth. Its a travesty that we can't hit on late draft picks like the Devils getting gems with Bratt and Sharangovich.

It's not coincidence when Burns left, Karlsson has taken off. It was very obvious that with Burns and Karlsson on the same team, they had no chemistry. Karlsson needed to be the #1 on the team

Blues fans were adamant "playoff Binnington" would carry over to the regular season. Lol. Those goofs. Even if St. Louis' play improves they may well miss the playoffs because Binnington is their starter. Lord knows Greiss ain't saving the day.

Miller shouldn't be forever slammed for something that happened in eighth grade. Some make very dumb decisions as children, if they mature and change their act it's fine and should be forgotten.
I don't think that's true at all--Karlsson was playing phenomenally last year too before he got hurt.
Admittedly as a pairing they're a little redundant, and IMO Burns was terrible last season, but I don't think his mere presence was holding Karlsson back.

I agree. But it sounds like he hasn’t done much to grow. I guess we’ll see though.
The risk of getting a player who's having a shitty season is that the shittiness might not last just one season.
And no, he will not be cheap no matter how bad he is. Armstrong won't just dump him for peanuts.
