Western Conference went 7-1 against the East last night, and that includes wins for Arizona, Seattle, and Chicago. Probably too small of a sample to mean anything, but it's kinda interesting.

Trotz outright saying he wants to coach an original six team and will be ready to coach in January.
Norris not being healthy has a bit of a silver lining... allows Pinto to continue to break out.

Now your a Pinto injury away from being in trouble. Not to mention Norris injuring the same shoulder again and he was having a slow start after getting a big deal. Pretty big loss for young and upcoming team on the verge of breaking out.

Meh, won't make a difference. That team's defensive corps is not good and their goaltending is not good.

Ooooof is it the same shoulder for Norris? He just signed that big long term extension, too. Wonder if he turns into Sean Monahan 2.0.
I saw Shane Pinto play for the Lincoln Stars, he was clearly their best player but I didn't expect him to have this much of an impact in the NHL this early. Good for him though.

I remember him playing there, and I recall some major flashes. To the point where if he could consistently click, he'd be a fantastic NHL player. It is clicking right now, if it holds, Ottawa will have the most dangerous center rotation in the league 1-2 years from now.
If Vancouver actually wins the lottery I'll be shocked. No team has had worse luck in that department IIRC (Avs obviously got bumped twice under those stupid rules but they ended up with Makar and Byram so it's really hard to complain about that).
My guess? Bedard ends up in Anaheim or Arizona.
