Yeah, I actually did not like those jerseys. Compounding it was the fact that Starter made them and they were shit. They didn’t absorb moisture properly at all so by the time Patrick Roy was done with a game he looked like someone had dumped a Gatorade bucket on him.

Also, fun fact, they rotated the logo after that first year ever so slightly because it looked off. That and the darkening of the red to burgundy made them into the Avs we know and love.

There is a Devils fan right behind Blackwood, who is getting up, turning around every single time Blackwood makes a save, and taunts the Kraken crowd. He already gave the finger to a couple of fans with a beer in his hand, so it's something I am eagerly anticipating as the game goes along what will happen and how drunk he will get.

Oh for sure, the All-Star is a joke for super-talented players to get in when the rest of the boys get like nine days off and head to the Caribbean island of their choice.
 
I would have rather mikko rest during the Allstar break. He had the team on his back for a while. Makar too if he's dinged up

To me it's just more about sleeping at home and relaxing. Knowing the avs luck they will all get Injured by tripping while getting off the bus on their way to game or something.
 
Only 5 Defenseman total are going to the All-Star game lmao. And 3 of them are in the Central. The Atlantic literally doesn't have a Dman, the Pacific only has Karlsson, and the Metro only has Fox.


What a horrendous system they have. Not like I really give a shit about the All-Star game anyway, but maybe if they stopped with this nonsense of having every team have a representative and voting players in, people would care the tiniest bit more.

E: WOW, that was insane puck control by Cozens on that goal.

I wish Donato is the player that Kaut turned into. Not top 6 level, but can provide secondary scoring on the bottom two lines quite efficiently.

Eddie Olczyk actually said something positive about the Avs. He said Avs are getting healthier which is bad news for rest of the NHL. Is that a 1st? Don't hear positive Avs stuff too often from him
 
I hope the Canucks hire a new coach and go on a run to just not quite make the playoffs. Off of an insane Horvat run where he hits 68 goals. The team then signs him to a 10m deal for 5 years.
