Jets remaining 3 games are against San Jose, Minny and the Avs. Should be an easy 2 points against the Sharks and im willing to bet a bunch of Avs regulars wont be in that final game. Calgary is done. You cant leave points on the table against the Nucks.
They beat Vancouver and Chicago they're ahead of Winnipeg right now. The Flames deserve to miss the playoffs.

Is there at a chance at an LA/Dallas first round? I would love to see those two teams kill eachother.

Yes, if Seattle wins out or wins 2 of 3 while the Kings lose out or only win 1 of 2 and the Stars beat the Avs for the division, Dallas would play Los Angeles in the 1st round.

However, that would mean the Avs have to play the Wild in round 1. Though given Joel Eriksson Ek is hurt, I might not mind playing Minnesota in the 1st round.

Minny wins in 6

The Avs can still get the #1 seed in the west. If they win out (with at least 3 regulation wins) and Vegas drops just a point in one of their remaining games, the Avs will have the best record in the conference.

Vegas has a home and home agains Seattle, so not out of the realm of possibility they loose one of those games.

If Winnipeg wins their next 2, they will have the last wildcard spot locked up before they play the Avs on Thursday. At that point the teams the Avs play in the last 2 games will have nothing to play for, as their positions would be locked in.

That's pretty wild to think about. If we win the conference the rest of the franchises should fold

Can we take a moment and recognize how bad a phrase home-and-home is? It makes absolutely no sense. It should be home-and-away. I have never understood the use of home-and-home. How can you use the same word twice and change the context or meaning of one of them in the same sentence. It's absurd.

I'd rather play Minnesota than Dallas.
There’s almost no chance of us playing Dallas, the most likely scenario I would say is we finish second because of the tie breaker with Dallas.

The game against Edmonton will be difficult and Dallas has an easy schedule .

I'm getting worried about Tampa. I wouldn't mind them losing, but I want to see them drop Toronto first lol. But the odds of that happening seem very slim right now.

1 of the jets C was at the very least was very much prime for the taking. Missed chance.
No they weren’t. Neither was available. Jets were going to give at least one more try before one of those centers forced their hand.

We all know where Dubois wants to go, and I don’t care if he’s potted 50 or more, I don’t want anything to do with that toolbag Scheifele. The only time he plays physical defensive hockey is when he has the chance to take off someone’s head.

I'm going with the Leafs for sure in that series. The media and their fans might be annoying but I think the team itself is fine. Tampa thinking they're God's gift to hockey and their non-stop complaining is too much. Time to be done with them.

Wonder is the controversial tank job by the Mavs in the NBA will affect other leagues on the long run.

Imagine if in the NHL tanking teams at the end of the season would healthy scratch their best players, bench the players that are getting a little too hot during the game and then miss the net on purpose at the end of the game to make sure that you don't win/tie the game.

I haven’t followed the nba this year, how obvious is it?

Very different situations.

Dallas Mavericks were not going anywhere if they even did qualify for the play-in tournament let alone playoffs. If they did, they would have to give their 1st round pick to New York. Otherwise top-10 they keep it. This is a very strategic move. Dallas has been trying to win literally every game this year minus that one when they realized all hope was lost.

That's no different than, say, an NHL team that traded its 1st but that pick is top 5 protected and they are currently sitting at 5th and need to not fall to 6th.

The Leafs are clear favourites. But I wish Tampa could pull it off. I want chaos and entertainment!
