They say that NHL Network will have the games, but I just chequed their schedule and absolutely no games are on tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Are they lying?![]()
They’ll charge you ~$30 per month for hockeytv.com, luckily there are some alternatives. I’m surprised Switzerlands SRF won’t be broadcasting games. Will scan my satellite feeds to see if any other channels will show any of the games.
Just curious.. Canada normally doesn't send their best team to U18... (best players in playoffs for CHL)... is this a stacked team Canada?
Also, I feel like Belarus is improving at the junior level... am I crazy here?
This is what USA hockey says:They say that NHL Network will have the games, but I just chequed their schedule and absolutely no games are on tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Are they lying?
Maybe it’s just last 7 games then. All games will be available in the U.S. execpt those airing on NHL Network, which are expected to include the quarterfinal, semifinal and medal round games

Funny that i checked TSN’s schedule and couldnt find any listings as well.

I feel like they had a really exciting team last time I saw them and they were very competive. No, you are not crazy. Belarus at U18 level is a force to be reckoned with for couple of years already. They are churning out plenty of good players and their U18 team playing in senior league the whole year that gives them solid advantage against other similar strength teams.
The hockeytv thing is a bit upsetting as you have to sign up for a month to get 4 matches in my case. Eg. I live in Canada and have TSN and they are broadcasting quarters, semis and finals. I just want the 4 Czech preliminary games.Think NHL Network will only start covering during the quarterfinal round. In the US, prelim round is streamed on HockeyTV.com
For Sweden:I'v gone through EPGs of these European Channels, that usually has rights for U20/U18 & usual Worlds broadcasting rights.
Safe to say only hockeyTV is the only place to watch the games (or any random game)
Sport1 (German) - no games
SRF 2/Sport (Swiss) - no games
TV4 / TV10 (Swedish) - no games (IIHF says svenskhockey.tv,but i can't find anything relatable there)
CT Sport (Czech) - no games
LTV7 (Latvian) - no games
Belarus 5 (Belarusian) - no games
If i'm wrong, someone can correct me on games broadcasted on above countries.
As @Gold Standard mentioned, TSN schedule is here:

Good enough for meOK I just bought KartinaTV for a month, but it seems that MatchTV in Russia will only show Team Russia's games in the prelims.
I’m pretty sure TSN is broadcasting all the Canadian games, no?Well, it might be even worse. I only see Russia - USA game in the listings.
Could be much worse.

Yeah,i found the same thing when i was checking their schedule.Well, it might be even worse. I only see Russia - USA game in the listings.
I got a feeling that ratings for U18 is just not there and maybe IIHF asks too much for broadcasting rights for it to pay off.
Didnt they do something similar last time ?So they only bought the rights to the game vs Team USA and maybe quarterfinals and further? M'kay...
