They got absolutely physically steamrolled by Canada last game and came out prepared.

Canada hasn’t played overly physical, definitely not looking like a traditional Canadian type of forecheck. I’m sure the coach will be in their ear about it at the intermission.

Both goalies have made some nice saves. Canada has controlled the play more, but the Swedes have had some good moments and chances as well in the 1st.

Yeah it’s a tightly contested, close game. We might need to give up less shots than we did in the first to win though, it is close but we can’t become too passive and let you control possession too much. Sweden had the highest quality scoring chance probably though.

Edvinsson outplaying Clarke in the 1st

Clarke has been head and shoulders better all tournament though. Neither were super noticeable in a good or bad way that period.

I have Clarke at #1 on my draft list for the 2021 draft. Bit of a weaker draft year this, but Clarke has all the makings of a high end two way D man that you can play in all situations.
