Wright looks good, his skating, specifically first step/Acceleration, looks improved from his last games in the OHL. Bedard line with another nice goal too.

This basically a best-on-best tier team that Canada has brought which isn’t usually the case at the U-18s. Dominant performance by the boys tonight.

The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is usually the only time Canada can ice a best-on-best U-18 team due to CHL playoffs.

Here was that Othmann hit earlier. Swedes were not ready for the speed or physicality that Canada is playing with.

Yeah, you can tell with the amount of talent Canada has on the ice.

Just one quality prospect after another including multiple franchise-worthy studs.

Othmann has really opened my eyes, love the way he plays. He’s a big physical winger as well with some skill. Looks taller than the 6’0 he’s listed at, looks closer to the 6’1 - 6’2 range.

The Oilers should definitely target him if Cossa is gone.

Othmann reminds me a bit of Sam Bennett. Of course not a good pick at 4. Late first. Perfect. Cossa is the dream. I think we’re on the same page there. I think he’ll be long gone though, sadly.
